Transferring your texts into a foreign language is more to us than just the translation of words. We understand translation as conveying your style, your personality, your goals, and statements to the desired language while keeping the particularities of each country in mind and mastering the language and the subject area alike.

The quality of your translations from language service is guaranteed by the following standards:

  • Four eyes principle
Each text is worked on by two expert professional translators. First the text is translated and then it is proofread.

  • Native speaker principle
The translators always translate into their native language.

  • Expert principle
The texts are carefully allocated to specially selected translators and proofreaders with knowledge of the relevant field. They also consult with experts (technicians, lawyers, banking professionals, doctors).

There is virtually no type of text which we are not able to translate. From sales and marketing documents (such as brochures, image texts and catalogues) to scientific and technical fields (such as reports, analyses, certificates and handbooks). We also produce written translations of everything from specialist articles to complete books.

We can compile the translated texts using various software applications, depending on your requirements. This makes any subsequent editing of the texts quick and easy.

  • Terminology management & terminology databases
The standardised use of terms is a key factor in effective communication. Misunderstandings can arise from the use of differing formulations and inconsistent language use and this costs time, money and patience.  If you wish to present your company, image and brand successfully, it is important to define standardised terminology (corporate wording) and to ensure that this is used consistently across all departments.

Using the latest tools in translation technology, we can save established terms as well as longer formulations in so-called Translation Memories and terminology databases. These saved and established terms will then also be used in any subsequent translations for you. This significantly improves the quality of your translations because the corporate wording and company-specific technology remains uniform and consistent throughout.

  • ICT translation
English is the leading language in the ICT world. But certain documents are often required in other language versions too.

Websites, webshops, software packages, handbooks (for computers, printers) can all be translated by language service. Our translators are familiar with the technical jargon.

Translations are usually invoiced based on words. If we receive a text file that can be processed by Microsoft Word, for example, a cost estimate can be calculated quickly based on the number of words. However, if the original text is only available as a graphical PDF or fax, for example, we estimate the number of lines and then prepare the invoice based on the finished target text. This means the final cost may deviate slightly from the original estimate. The exact price per line always depends on the text type, degree of difficulty, language pair, scope, as well as urgency.
